I arrived in Santiago two months ago, and I had to brush up my Spanish language skills as soon as possible. My boss suggested Español Andes Santiago because he has several friends from Canada, the USA, and Australia who recommended the school.
The lesson is a sort of Fast Track. I could learn the reality of how to use the Spanish for daily life. For example how to differentiate between “ser and estar” or “por and para” is very complex, but now I am used to it by leaning a lot of real examples. My teacher is professional and enthusiastic. I have been taking private Spanish classes with Andes Santiago for three months and my communication skills and understanding of the language have greatly improved during that time. The classes are tailored specifically to my needs, making them much more valuable and enjoyable than lessons I have taken with other language schools.
The lessons are flexible and fast-paced and include practice in reading, writing, listening and speaking. There is a definite emphasis on conversation which is most important for me. As well as learning verb conjugations, grammatical structures, and vocabulary, I am also given practical tips for common expressions used in Chile, which is extremely useful. I have lessons with two different teachers and the lessons follow on seamlessly from one to another.
The teachers are excellent in reinforcing the areas which I find most difficult, ensuring I practice these again and again. I look forward to my classes and highly recommend Andes Santiago to anyone looking to learn or improve Spanish fast!
